We are looking for an Organizational Effectiveness Consultant for our new Strategy & Portfolio department within HR. You have a clear vision on and experience with organizational effectiveness and like to take the lead in increasing the organizational effectiveness across Alliander.

The Consultant Organizational Effectiveness advises and supports Alliander Directors, the HR Management Team and HR Business Partners on topics that are relevant to increasing Alliander’s agility, result orientation and cost efficiency. In this role you will:
- Develop a vision and roadmap on organizational effectiveness
- Stay informed of relevant developments, insights and best practices
- Identify opportunities for increasing the organizational effectiveness of Alliander and HR
- You actively work together with colleagues from Strategy & Portfolio, HR, Strategy, Finance, IT and Digital
- Build a capability on Organizational Effectiveness in HR and across the whole of the Organisation

The new HR Strategy & Portfolio department plays an important role in the transition of Alliander as a whole and HR in particular. With a curious and open view to the outside world, we are constantly looking for innovative and smart ideas to make our current way of working and our organization more effective, decisive and cost efficient.
Because we know the organization well, we ensure that we bring in the right innovations, create buy-in enable a successful implementation. Topics we work on include People Strategy, People Analytics, Digitization, Organizational Effectiveness, Strategic Workforce Planning, Change Management and Portfolio Management.

Your background
There is a need for outstanding consulting skills to enable the team and the business to work more effectively and efficiently. Therefor you have a convincing track record as a consultant organizational effectiveness. You have a clear vision, love complex business issues, know how to implement them decisively and know the importance of stakeholder management. You are analytical, understand the business and continue to act effectively even in ambiguous situations.
In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:
- Academic work and thinking level (Business Administration, HRM or similar) supplemented with 8-10 years of relevant work experience
- A strong vision and relevant work experience with increasing organizational effectiveness, designing and implementing operating model changes, strategic workforce planning
- Awareness of the latest developments in your field. Eagerness to bring best practices to Alliander.
- Thought leadership
- Strong stakeholder management at various levels and layers in the organization.
- An analytical view but also operational strength.
- Self-starter, pragmatic and result-oriented.
- Convincing others is a strenght. Team player.
- Affinity with the energy sector and the ambition to make an impact within it.
For this role extensive proficiency in Dutch is required
