Right now, we are looking for a Senior Network Designer to manage our Voice Interconnect and SIP-Trunk solutions in Finland. As this role is expected to handle sensitive data and systems, you need to have a citizenship of Finland.

Our team is located in Finland and Lithuania and is highly involved in cross-border agile production in all our six Nordic and Baltic countries. We are at the forefront of telco technologies including IMS, 5G voice, SIP-Trunk, Cloud and Automation, and we are operating/maintaining Mobile and Fixed Voice Core systems for both consumer and business services.
In this role you will be collaborating closely with operations, production managers and developers in the same team and across Telia Company. You will also interact with our suppliers (such as Ericsson, Nokia, Microsoft/Metaswitch), partners and regulator. We are working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), so knowledge and aspirations of working in that framework will also be needed. Ambition and ability to work as a Scrum Master or Product Owner is expected.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Planning and development of fixed voice services, incl. B2O (interconnect) and B2B (SIP-trunk).
- Service design, configuration, parameter design and implementation.
- Handling business and legal requirements towards voice core networks.
- Development of voice core strategy, architecture and roadmaps.
- Supporting execution of development, integration and migration projects.
- Working close to operations & testing.
- Collaboration with regulator and other operators.
- Acting as Scrum Master or Product Owner in an agile team.

Your Experience:
- Voice Core competence and knowledge of the different voice technologies, architectures (incl. IMS), functions, interfaces, and protocols in the Telecom sector.
- Experience in development, engineering, design, integration and testing of Voice Core systems and services.
- Experience in agile development methods and practices, i.e. Scrum, SAFe, Agile, Jira.
- Relevant technical education.
- Fluent in Finnish and English (written and spoken).
